Ambulance Driver

YOU CAN DRIVE AN AMBULANCE!

Are you interested in giving back to your community in a rewarding and meaningful way? Do you want to meet new people? Are you a good driver? Do you have a few hours (or more!) a week to volunteer?

We need ambulance drivers to help fill out our EMS crew. We'll train you to drive the ambulance. No special license required, just a clean driving record. In addition to driving to the emergency scene and to our area hospitals, drivers assist EMTs with moving patients on the stretcher and preparing the ambulance for the next call.

Daytime availability is especially helpful. When responding to a call, you may spend as little as 30 minutes if transport is not necessary or up to three hours for a roundtrip call.

Interested in learning more? Stop by the station on the first, third, or fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 PM to talk to us and tour the ambulance.
