CORNHOLE FUNDRAISER: SATURDAY, JUNE 20
When someone in our community calls 911, they are often experiencing one of the most frightening moments of their life. In those critical minutes, your local, all-volunteer Stephentown Ambulance crew is there—providing skilled and compassionate care.
Today, we are asking for your help.
We are holding a Cornhole Fundraiser on Saturday, June 20th to raise money to help offset the $30,000 cost of the refurbished LifePak 15 cardiac monitor for our ambulance. This advanced equipment will significantly enhance the care we can provide right here in our community.
One of the most important capabilities of the LifePak 15 is the ability to perform a 12-lead EKG and transmit it directly to the hospital while we are still caring for the patient in the field. In the case of a severe heart attack, this allows the emergency department and cardiac specialists to begin preparing for the patient’s arrival before the ambulance even reaches the hospital. When heart muscle is at risk, every minute counts.
Our goal is simple: to provide the same high standard of care that is available in neighboring communities, and to give our residents the best possible chance in a medical emergency.
We rely on the generosity of our community to make improvements like this possible. Thank you!
