2026 Family Olympics

We are inviting the community to come to the Stephentown Fire Station on Saturday, April 18 between 10 AM - 2 PM for our annual open house as part of the Recruit NY weekend. This year we have something special planned:     The SVFD Family Olympics with games and contests for kids and adults!

There will be prizes for participants -- gift certificates for a free ice cream cone or cup of coffee thanks to Stewart's. Everyone who participates will be entered in a drawing for 3 grand prizes!

Plus get a professional photograph taken with one of our fire trucks!

While you're here, explore our trucks and tour the station. Grab some free food - we'll have burgers and dogs and some desserts. And chat with our friendly crew of firefighters, fire police, EMTs, and ambulance drivers and learn about what we do and why we enjoy doing  it.
