Things were a little qui...oops, oh, umm, err, no, uh... as superstitious first responders, we don't use the "Q" word. But let's just say that call volume was a little lower than normal in May.

We get by with a little help from our friends...

This month we were able to answer two mutual aid calls for Taconic Ambulance. And in the best spirit of cooperation, in one instance we could provide the ambulance and EMT and in the second, Taconic could provide the ambulance and driver. As an added bonus, during these types of collaborative mutual aid calls, we get a chance to chat about EMS in the Valley during the ride home from the hospital and share information and ideas.
